Developers don’t employ QA testing in recent years unlike olden days. Current developers prefer to use gamers as a free workforce that also pays them sometimes. It’s not unusual to see flurry of patches right after a game release.
Funny thing is they’ve postponed the game several times and still didn’t manage to beta test it. It was supposed to be released in January, then in March and finally was released half-baked in April. There’s already a preliminal support of English and Chinese translations in there, so the Japanese are basically paying beta-testers for the rest of the world. Kind of funny.
